We had a very nice Easter, made it to both sides of the family. Kiddos woke up around 6:30 and found their baskets. Candy for breakfast - as always!
My first cheesecake was a success. Boys were a little banged up. We joked it looks like we beat them just in time for the Holiday. Pierce has a big ole bruise on his forehead from running into a pole in the basement and our youngest had a busted up lip. He fell at the playground because he insists on wearing his rain boots. We cannot get this little guy to wear his new sneakers no matter how hard we try. I have decided to just go with it. Actually, I ordered him a new pair off zulily. If you are in the market for rain boots for your kids - zulily is the best place. So cute! Brands you never heard of and cheap. I just got these shark ones!
Pottery barn kids is having an amazing sale right now on lunch bags with free shipping! We happened to need two - time to replace my biggest boys with a plain gray one and Pierce is starting kindergarten so he needs a lunch box to match that spiderman backpack. $30 for both - what a deal! Honestly, I love the size of these boxes - they are perfect and I think Brady's cost me $11.
Steve has 3 weeks left of school and honestly there are times I am not sure we are going to make it. Stress levels are so high - he is so easily irritated and I am just sick and tired of it all. I want off the nursing school rollercoaster. We keep dreaming about our vacation because we know the school stress will be over with.
Are we batshit crazy to go back to Disney with 3 little kids and a double stroller- you betcha! It was really out of necessity for scheduling and school. But it will be our last time for a bit. So I am on a mission to get a good family "castle pic." We will be back to Disney cruising in April of 2018. So much more relaxing for us! Shopping the travel section, ordering clothes - getting close 33 days till we go! We are staying at The Yacht Club again - when you have 3 children a lot of the resorts would make us get 2 rooms. At least that's what I told my husband :)
I have to say my #1 travel item I must have is a pop-up hamper. I know - thrilling pick there huh? With 5 people in 1 room I have to have order. I need to unpack our things and stow away our luggage. I will lose my mind staring and tripping over suitcases every day. The pop-up hamper allows me to "pickup" the room a little and it means I don't have to find a suitcase every time someone takes off a dirty shirt to put it in. Every 2 days I empty the hamper into a suitcase. I have heard the dollar store has pop up hampers - I got mine from (huge surprise) Target. Seriously a must have!!
We take this thing everywhere! Great wolf, camping. And when we get home I store it in the suitcase till next time.

Is it vacay without a maxi?
We have to wait till May to vacation but that isn't going to stop me from shopping. For maxi dresses that is!! Nordstrom and Zappos have so many cute ones.
And this mama needed new sneakers.
I am going to try and wear sneakers this year at Disney. It probably won't happen but that's how I'm justifying it.
At this time of year, I admit I am terrible with spending money. I get all excited for a new Season and lets face it - Spring/Summer if fun to shop for. I love seeing the boys in their summer pj's, flip flops, sandals and shorts. Maybe I am just dreaming of the day I don't have to hang up 3 coats and keep track of 3 hats every single day. And let's not forget when they wear their boots, mama has to make sure they have their sneakers. Seriously, winter is exhausting. Hanging up windbreakers sound so much better. My boys have to have them. They bunch up into a ball and are perfect for traveling. Hello Florida downpours or restaurants that are over-air conditioned (I hate that). After that they get thrown into the car for Summer's cool nights.
My biggest boy is wearing a size 10! I can't handle it. His size Mediums from Gap are getting small and there is only 1 more size for pj's at Carters. Tears!
