I got very lucky deciding which hotel to book because there are several. I picked the right one! The Delta was the closest (literally 1 block) so we could park and walk. The ride up there wasn't bad at all with all 3 kids. We stopped and got Timmy's -like usual and the boys got to watch The Secret Life of Pets dvd they got for Christmas from Great Aunt Cheryl. We stayed on the 20th floor and our room faced the train tracks which our 3 boys just LOVED. They would hear them coming and all go hang out at the window. I think the boys liked the adjoining rooms with Grandma and Grandpa. I liked them when Reid got up super early and toddled over there at 6:45 - my parents are early risers so they didn't mind.
We walked to a restaurant nearby and miraculously they had a table for 7 on a super busy night. The Leafs had a game that night so the city was hopping. We had a great dinner and then it was back to the hotel for swimming and watching playoff football for the big boys.
My dad throwing the football :)
And yet another trip to Great Wolf. We love it here and have to come every winter. My kids aren't strong swimmers - but slap a vest on them and they turn into little fishies. So Clean and close to home with a breakfast buffet that serves Eggs Benedict (it's a tradition) - what is there not to LOVE. We stayed on the waterpark or ground floor this time and I think from now on I am requesting it. My parents babysat the kids and ordered pizza while we went to the same wood fired pizza place on Clifton Hill that serves sangria, need I say more?
Our Fish
A hoodie and tieks - I'm ready!
It goes without saying, but I am overjoyed to have my parents (especially my dad) be there with us! He has come a long way from his heart attack and although I still worry about him like crazy hes here! <3
